Utah’s Mitch Wishnowsky averaged 55.5 yards per punt this past weekend.

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Augusta Sports Council and Ray Guy Award are proud to announce Mitch Wishnowsky of the University of Utah as the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week. Wishnowsky had a total of six punts for 333 yards in a home win against Southern Utah. He averaged 55.5 yards per punt with two marked inside the 20-yard line and two touchbacks. Wishnowsky had a net punting average of 46.8 and his long punt was 66 yards.

Wishnowsky broke Utah’s school record for punting average in a game this past weekend. The previous school record was set by two time Ray Guy Award winner Tom Hackett.
