Stanford’s Jake Bailey averaged 50.6 this past weekend against Colorado, earning Ray Guy Award Player of the Week honors.

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Augusta Sports Council and Ray Guy Award are proud to annouce Jake Bailey of Stanford University as the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week.

He played a vital role for Stanford in a close game against Colorado on Saturday, punting five times, for 253 yards. He averaged 50.6 yards per punt with two marked inside Colorado’s 20-yard line. Bailey’s net average from this weekend’s game was 49.2 yards. His long punt was 61 yards and three of his punts were not returned.

Bailey was on the Ray Guy Award Preseason Watch List this year and is a sophomore at Stanford.
