Rice’s James Farrimond averaged 51.2 yards per punt with four punts marked inside the 20-yard line against UTEP.

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Augusta Sports Council and Ray Guy Award are proud to announce James Farrimond of Rice University as the Ray Guy Award Player of the Week.

Farrimond had a total of five punts for 256 yards in the away loss against UTEP. He averaged 51.2 yards per punt with four punts marked inside the 20-yard line and no touchbacks. Farrimond had a net punting average of 51.6 and his longest punt was 59 yards.
