AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Augusta Sports Council and Ray Guy Award are proud to announce Austin Rehkow of the University of Idaho as the Ray Guy Award Player of the Week.

Rehkow had six punts and 299 yards in a home loss against South Alabama. He averaged 49.8 yards per punt with four marked inside the 20-yard line and no touchbacks. His net average per punt was 48.7 yards. Four of Rehkow’s six punts went for 50-plus yards with a long punt of 56 yards.

This is Rehkow’s second career Ray Guy Award Player of the Week, with his first awarded in October 2013. Rehkow was also on the 2014 Ray Guy Award Preseason Watch List announced in July.
