Will Gleeson of Mississippi averaged 47.3 yards per punt with three punts marked inside the 20-yard line against Boise State.

Will Gleeson has been named the Ray Guy Award Player of the Week.

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Augusta Sports Council and Ray Guy Award are proud to announce Will Gleeson of the University of Mississippi as the Ray Guy Award Player of the Week.

Gleeson had nine punts for 434 yards, averaging 48.2 yards per punt in a home win against Tennessee. Four of those punts were marked inside the 20-yard line with no touchbacks. Four of Gleeson’s nine punts went for 50-plus yards with a long punt of 67 yards.

This is the second time Gleeson has been awarded the Ray Guy Award Player of the Week honor, with the first being in week one.
