Florida Atlantic’s Dalton Schomp averaged 64.3 yards per punt with two marked inside the 20-yard line this past weekend, earning Ray Guy Award Player of the Week honors.

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Augusta Sports Council and Ray Guy Award are proud to announce Dalton Schomp of Florida Atlantic University as the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week.

Schomp greatly contributed to FAU in its game against Old Dominion on Saturday. He was called into action three times, totaling in 193 yards for the day. He averaged 64.3 yards per punt with two marked inside Old Dominion’s 20-yard line.

Schomp’s net average from this weekend’s game was 55.3 yards. His longest punt of the day was 68 yards with two of his three punts not returned.

The Ray Guy Award winner will be announced live on ESPN on Dec. 8.
