AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Augusta Sports Council and Ray Guy Award are proud to announce Hayden Hunt of Colorado State University as the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week for the second time this season.

He assisted Colorado State in a close game against Boise State. Hunt punted seven times for 307 yards. He averaged 43.9 yards per punt with four marked inside Boise State’s 20-yard line. Hunt’s net average from this weekend’s game was 42.3 yards. His long punt was 59 yards and five of his punts were not returned.

Hayden Hunt was a finalist for last year’s Ray Guy Award and has continued to prove himself as one to watch this season. The NCAA has ranked him 18th in the nation and is the only punter named to ESPN’s Preseason All-American team.
