California’s Dylan Klumph averaged 49.7 yards per punt with four marked inside the 20-yard line against Washington on Saturday. He has been named the Ray Guy Award Player of the Week.

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Augusta Sports Council and Ray Guy Award are proud to announce Dylan Klumph of the University of California, Berkeley as the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week.

Klumph played an integral role for California in their game against Washington on Saturday. Klumph punted seven times for 348 yards. He averaged 49.7 yards per punt with four marked inside Washington’s 20-yard line. Klumph’s net average from this weekend’s game was 44.7 yards. His long punt was 60 yards and three of his punts were not returned.

Klumph is on the 2016 Ray Guy Award candidates watch list. The list of 66 players will be narrowed to 10 semifinalists on Nov. 11. The Ray Guy Award winner will be announced live on ESPN on Dec. 8.
