JK Scott of Alabama has been named the Ray Guy Award Player of the Week.

AUGUSTA, Ga. — The Augusta Sports Council and Ray Guy Award are proud to announce JK Scott from the University of Alabama as the Ray Guy Award Player of the Week.

Scott punted a career high eight times in the Crimson Tide’s 14-13 victory at Arkansas in week seven for 354 yards. Scott averaged 44.2 yards per punt with seven marked inside the 20-yard line, including six that were downed at the 15-yard line or better. Three of Scott’s eight punts went for 50-plus yards with a long punt of 58 yards.
